About the brand

Hi! I am Sarah Hamilton, a mama to three little boys: Thomas, Theodore, and Toby. I’m a former kindergarten teacher and started sewing as a hobby while I stayed at home and raised my babies. My husband is a chiropractor and Kansas City has been our home for the past 12 years. I started BirdieRae KC in 2021, and my small hobby quickly turned into a full time small business for the Kansas City area and KC fans across the country. My sewing skills are all self-taught, and since I’m a boy-mom I LOVE the chance to make all the girly things for my customers like bell bottoms, headbands, dresses, and cheer skirts. Boy mamas deserve adorable options too, like our leggings, hoodies, beanies, and rompers! All BirdieRae KC pieces are handmade right here in Kansas City.
